CLX Policy Luncheon Featuring Governor Matt Bevin on Friday, June 3, 2016
Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin will be our featured speaker at the next Commerce Lexington Inc. Public Policy Luncheon presented by Kentucky American Water, on Friday, June 3, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Lexington (401 West High Street). Having completed his first legislative session, Governor Bevin will provide an update on key issues like the budget process, state pension systems, education funding, public-private partnerships, felony expungement, workforce development, and more. He will also discuss other policy priorities for his administration for this year and moving into the 2017 session.
Gov. Bevin was elected as Governor of Kentucky last November, and immediately hit the ground running to find solutions to many of our state’s key issues. He has founded several companies in Kentucky and invested in a number of others throughout the Commonwealth and around the United States. Governor Bevin has managed and expanded multiple businesses, creating many good paying jobs.
The cost to attend the Public Policy Luncheon is $45 for Commerce Lexington Inc. members, and $55 for potential members.
